Abstract der Forschungsarbeit

In a more dynamic world, we must change and adapt to the global changes. This is especially important in the manufacturing sector. Digitalisation is a key part of this change. It is already implemented in the real world. In order to bring manufacturing ahead, there is a need for a greater use of new ways of working. Therefore, it had been worked on a learning guidance in order to make learning in manufacturing easier. Analogue techniques on how to make people learn manufacturing processes were utilised for a digital learning guidance. Although this meant to rethink old techniques and not only making them digital. The learning guidance walks the person through the process of manufacturing. The tool used to make this guidance practicable is a technical transmission of an electrical engine. This tool is complex enough for the size of the project. To conceive the guidance, the process of building this electrical transmission needed to be separated in several simple steps. On the other hand, there was a need for templates of how such a step can be depicted. These templates were designed according to the prior learned knowledge from analogue learning guidances. After this work was done, the steps were implemented in the existing templates. The whole learning guidance was split into the segments. With the ongoing learning process, the level of help is adjusted. In the first segment, the quantity of the given information on the process is the biggest. It is reduced for the following two segments. In order to make it to the next segment, there are certain criteria. If the first segment is completed without errors in the final product, this segment is accomplished. For the next one, a reference time is applied. This makes the person become faster and more skilled with the product. The focus was put on a visual presentation throughout a digital device. To test the usability of the system, a study was conducted. The study contained a group of 18 people. Everyone had a time limit of 90 minutes. In this period, the process of learning must be accomplished. The learning guidance is considered to be finished when every segment was successfully used at least once. The last segment had to be done only once. Considering all steps, the conceived learning guidance was useful and successful. But it also had some issues. These were partly caused by the circumstances. Summarizing, the learning guidance helped every participant of the study to finish the process in time.
