Abstract der Forschungsarbeit
Turtle-Graphics are an approach to vector graphics that has, due to it’s simplicity, found widespread use in education. It generates graphics by moving a „turtle“ through space and having it draw along it’s path, thus being very intuitive to understand. A further use of these turtle-graphics is using them in combination with Lindenmayer systems to generate fractal or plant-like structures. This paper seeks to use CindyJs, a mathematics visualization framework, to build a user interface facilitating the creation of such structures, and use this framework to explore different kinds of plant-like and fractal structures.
